For here are images from our new paper on the ornithomimosaurs that inhabited Mississippi in the Late Cretaceous (~84-85 million years ago).

One of the ways we distinguished the larger- & smaller-bodied species was by using bone histology to track their growth.

Been wondering, if Bahariasaurus is truly a giant noasaur, then wouldn't its anatomy differ from the tiny noasaurs we have? Especially when you look at something like Deinocheirus which was usually interpreted as a giant version of typical ornithomimosaurs.

Idk, I'm no expert.

More on Deinocheirus: got to see the original gut contents up close at . There is a good lot of gastroliths, or stomach stones, like we would expect for an ornithomimosaur. Then there are the FISH bones...!

considering that the ornithomimosaurs were around for over a hundred million years on most if not all of the continents and ranged in size from turkeysize to whatever the hell you might compare Deinocheirus to, i bet there were at some time & place some road runner-y ones.

For the final day of these posters is how my way of presenting evolutionary trees started. It is something I really enjoy doing. In here you can see Centrosaurine Ceratopsids, Ornithomimosaurs and Alvarezsaurs, Dromaeosaurs and Wessex Fm
