I'm just gonna go ahead and say it...
I've increasingly grown to like ARK's creature designs. Not all of them, but still a lot of them, and I generally think the design philosphy works quite well, aiming for sorta semi-alien, artificial recreations of extinct animals.

But the idea that it could be elevated as a "replacement for human-made art" is a piece of the capitalist philosphy that denies that there is sacredness in nature, and ignores the spirituality in human creativity.
