Workin on Driftkick's model for portfolio. Started him in 2016 when I did a game art course. Had to retopo a lot of the old work since I did it before I knew how to model good. Now I'm polypainting his UV (maya won't unwrap UV's properly but what's new TuT;)

ClayBuildup is great for sculpting, but it can also be really great for polypainting! By selecting a darker colour than the base colour, setting the brush to drag rectangle and removing the alpha (optional?), you can apply some really nice colour variation and gradients.

Continued my zbrush workflow learning journey in the last week and finished the sculpt! Also did some polypainting and ended up enjoying it wayyy too much 🎨I baked the AO onto my lowpoly from some weeks ago, so now it's time for some handpainting!!
