Done w/ my Hunter x Hunter reread. Incredible stuff. The current arc easily has the potential to become the best one in the manga: there's so much depth, it's excellently paced, and it's the kind of story arc that really rewards the effort you put into it while reading. Too good.
Feel like Griffith will probably make my top 5 all time male characters after this reread. I've always held him in high regards and I'm always captivated by him whenever I first watched (97 don't worry) and read berserk years back
From memory I think Yoruichi said this place was made by Kisuke when they were young. If not I'll correct myself as I reread. But Tessai was also there as they grew up & his reaction here feels like he too was involved. Cool to note given his prior job title.
