Feels like obviously people are gonna focus mostly on Richard Donner's film career but let's not forget his contributions to comics and Superman lore in general

Richard Donner's SUPERMAN THE MOVIE is the very template every comic book film overlooks at its peril. He flew its vital sense of verisimilitude throughout THE GOONIES, LETHAL WEAPON, THE OMEN & more and cinema & our youth flew because of it.

Here is my Richard Corben, Den tribute. I remember seeing Corben’s work like many in Magazine and his creation, Den, in the animated movie at a very impressionable age. 😆 and I loved it. one of the greats.

Sadden to hear the news of the death of Richard Corben. One of the first artists whose work I fell in love with, especially his werewolf stuff.

Thank you for teaching us all of these fundamental ideas and steps of animation. Thank you for teaching us to believe and animate with our heart. We are all going to miss you ...

Everyone is praising Roger Rabbit, while I'm here enjoying "The Thief and the Cobbler" moreso. It's a real shame that Mr. Williams' magnum opus was never treated with the respect it deserved for all the work he put into it. At least we have the Recobbled Cut.
