The 'Military Forces of the Late Third Age' lore was also written for Expansion 2. Despite the fact expansion 2 was never released, the lore was shared at RuneFest 2017. Much of this lore also helped in creating the Archaeology skill.

Interestingly, one of the reasons Jagex pushed back the M&S rework (from 2016) was because players wanted Mining shafts.

There's also this cool concept art for M&S Rework 'Dragonkin' equipment (shown at RuneFest quite a few years ago).

The ‘Valley of the Dead’ was announced at RuneFest 2013. The gameplay was going to be stylised around Battle Royale / Hunger Game mechanics. It was due to release in 2014.

Here is some ? I believe this was for Runefest with talking about player teamplay and cooperation between players. He needed an image that showed in the quickest way possible, two groups that normally wouldn't work together doing exactly that.
