Butterfly in space

Here’s 8 hours over 3 nights on the Sadr Region in Cygnus. Such a cool target. Had to go back and get a better photo of it.

This is a wide field view that I captured of one of my favorite areas of the summertime sky. Sadr is the central star in the constellation Cygnus. The Crescent nebula adorns the lower right section with all it's complex beauty

Last night I photographed the Sadr Region. I collected 30 500 exposures for a total of just over 4 hours of data. As my final image for at least a month I’m super happy with it. And again, I seriously can’t believe how much of that Ha my new camera and filter are able to capture.

This is a rough cut of the Sadr region. It surrounds the central star in the cross of Cygnus - just east of Lyra and northwest of Pegasus.

There's weird glow at the bottom - not sure if that's moon glow or tree interference!

It’s good to collect some ancient photons ! Here is the Gamma Cygni Nebula, withe Sadr star in the center, in Cygnus, and toward the upper right the Crescent Nebula, with a lot of Hydrogen around them!
