Although I had considered shortening Marissa's tail at one point I ultimately decided against it.

I think she looks better with a long tail and striped skunks have longer tails most of the time.

I imagine some mammalians have hair nets to cover their tails while cooking.

I've recently learned that skunks might be one of the few animals that can use tools. In 2018 someone's camera caught a striped skunk that carried a small rock in its paw & used it to break the ice that formed on a bowl of water to drink from it.

Pretty smart for an animal, huh?

Skunks are the best animals, you can never change my mind. Dogs have to be specifically bred to drive away bears without casualties, skunk spray forces bears to leave and to smell like butt for weeks.
