But other pterosaur-bearing rocks, like those of Solnhofen, preserve both young juveniles AND adults. We can't, therefore, entirely rule out parental care in sp. like Rhamphorhynchus or Pterodactylus. Maybe they did look after their young. Maybe they didn't.

Reminder that in the Late Jurassic of Europe, many Solnhofen like Deposits turned up, and not too long ago a new one has also been found in Poland the Owadów‐Brzezinki quarry, which has already turned up a new Ichythosaur and the oldest Member of the Genus Limulus.

Working on my PhD chapter, started questioning validity of claim that all Solnhofen Rhamphorhynchus being R. muensteri, especially R. longiceps. I know there are ontogenic and preservational changes, but, ignoring the size discrepancy, the cranium is just... relatively triangular

Another This time Eomesodon, a beast that was able to grow surprisingly huge for a pycnodont. I saw a original in Solnhofen, especially impressive because one is able to the the sculpture of the scales which are usually too small to notice.
