In what has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen, the Stegosaurus in the Windows search bar advertising the Windows AI image generator is clearly plagiarized from this classic depiction by Joe Tucciarone. How perfect is that?

🦖 Daily Dino 🦖; Wuerhosaurus homheni

An Early Cretaceous stegosaur from China, Wuerhosaurus is notable for surviving longer than most of its kind. Finding of broken back plates initially lead to reconstructions with flat, unusual plate shapes

Miragaia has the longest neck relative to its body size of all stegosaurs! This allows this armored animal to reach higher sources of food not normally accessible to other dinosaurs.

You can find our Miragaia within the Mesozoic Base Camp of the 🌿

Stegosaurus! One of the most beautiful dinosaurs out there imo for someone who makes the most beautiful art. Obviously dinosaurs can't paint, but scientists think the backplates on this species of Ornithisian dino's had amazing, flashy colours. A bit like your paint 🎨

I don't think I've done anything that's at "iconic" status, but if people in the dino sphere know me, it's usually for my muscle reconstructions, particularly my 2020 Stegosaur.

It wasn't my first muscle recon, but it was the first I did with enough rigour to put me on the map. https://t.co/NuaFxDZ57r
