Anime adaptation of the tattoos were an error & I remember it being one of my biggest early frustrations + points of argument with presenting the idea of Sukuna's Tattoo's being seals..

Subsequent panels & art seem to have now confirmed as much. 🙏🏽

I initially presented Sukuna's Tattoo's being seals for his true form in 2018 because imo evidence had already been given..
Sukuna had 2 rings on his arms & none in his true animalistic form.
Validity was added later as reverting to 4 arms left single rings on each arm..

here's a bit of detailed ref for StraysFell's tats?

the tattoo's called liquid fire. the way it works is random colored in marks that never touch.

the red in the model is finished tat's, the blue are tat's that aren't finished, green is jewelry.

Once again I share my beloved Marcus, with some new art (well, the fourth image is known now). 😊😊😊😊 Marcus doesn't have any tattoo's as you can see, most of it he is "tattooed" with a lot of scars because of battles and his incident in the gas plant that burned his back.😭💔

3. Curses / Muscles
4. Tattoo's (least favorite) and shadow (favorite)
