Thinking about repeating symbols/designs in GI & I just noticed that Ventis flower/Cecelia look like the Triquetra.
Paimon has that, the starry cloak, the diamond star of Khaenriah, and her little metal bits look like the Celestia columns/statue of 7 metal bits.
@MartMartaH As a literal todler I would attempt to draw the triquetra on evety possible surface cos I was obsessed with charmed if that counts
Otherwise... the first fan art I can recall was a peterpan drawing?
Tho I'm sure I did some young frankestain doodles in a sketchbook way be4 that
Design analysis of False God Otto, explaining why he’s an angel etc— the repeated appearance of the triquetra, once used as a symbol for the christian trinity (otto has always been associated with the church, he often carries a cross with him) then as a symbol of the Solar family
+(the Four Shades), a pair of wings (Phanes was described "having wings and a crown" in Byakuyakoku Collection, plus it is a fallen angel) and a triquetra symbol, visible on Paimons outfit. Paimon also wears a crown, and this very crown is visible on Genshin's logo. The Chinese+
@xesc13primero1 it's in every item background I think, Let's see we have triquetra icon which is Mora and subsequence Zl-related and on Paimon's outfit,
And the circle is Decabarian's tower and Venti-related...............
It only now clicked 😭 I got so used to seeing triquetra everywhere that I forgot what has been right under my nose
So I'm sorta excited we are finally getting an Irish Op in @Rainbow6Game
Just a bit of culture from the latest teaser
The icon on this weapon appears to be a Triquetra or "Trinity Knot" which represents the Holy Trinity in Christianity
Super common in Irish/Celtic Jewelry
The triquetra is a beloved symbol, representing three in one and one in three. While many associate it with the Celts and particularly the Irish, it was used across not just the entirety of Britain but also by pre-Christian Germanic peoples, and by Buddhists. #FolkloreThursday
@rosariahotmilf Our icon is based off the Triquetra, as an upside-down Celtic Trinity Knot. a symbol consistently seen across the world's ruins, domains, and on Paimon's chest. Celtic Knots symbolize a three-part journey of the soul: awareness beyond the material plane, awakening, and ascension.
I like the triquetra: YaST Packages, Nmap Get Updates in Tumbleweed https://t.co/yVlkJGYTvq
genshin ain't slick using the triquetra knot everywhere ESPECIALLY on paimon. the triquetra can basically mean life, death, rebirth/the holy spirit. in celtic theology it also represented female gods + her divine power. the knot is drawn with one continuous line to show eternity.
