The Shinju is like a parallel to the tailed beasts that were hunted down by humans for their enormous strength. They're automatically seen as threats. Shika's "betrayal" plan seems logical but it does leave a sour taste.

Surprised Shinki was able to seal Gaara too. Didn't know his Iron Sand can do that. But it's not shocking he'd protect Gaara with everything he has. He and Kawaki have that in common. Both of these serious sons are protective of their adoptive dads.#IX🍥
