For day no. 2 I chose the wawel dragon from a Polish legend. (Kraków) It was told that he lives in a cave under a castle and terrorized the whole area around it until some cobbler ended the dragon's reign of terror with a trick.

In the Wawel terrorized Krakow during the reign of King Krakus. He demanded meals of live cattle, thus depleting farms. Krakus' sons tricked him by feeding him calf skins stuffed with smoldering sulfur, which caused his fiery death.
