I have no idea where it appears in the game, it's possible that it's leftover from the PS1 version. There's a texture for a spine too so I assume it's a 3d object.

Those that dont know what part-color (bichrome) is, it's originally a cheap color printing method common with Japanese manga/media that would be in orange, white and black ink that'd basically act as a alternate 'colored' art. My only exposure has been WSJ but here's examples

The build up to his intro was just godly.. Sometimes I miss the days when average WSJ pace was slow enough to have an introduction take almost a full chapter. The build up didn't feel like it it dragged & set the anime up for a clean 1 to 1 adaptation. 👌🏽
