@Cosmikaizer "Captain Mechabeard, Xenacanthus, go for launch!"
I've got more than four original projects that involve mecha in some way or another, here's some snippets.
For now I have 5 animals in permian diorama:
Labidosaurus, Gnathorhiza, Xenacanthus, Orthacanthus and Dimetrodon
@ausar_the Saivodus and a lot of other ctenacanthiforms made a huge impression. As did genera like the gigantic goblin sharks (Scapanorhynchus and Rhaphiodus), as well as some other lamniforms of the time. Among xenacanths it was bransonellines. PLUS THE whole Carboniferous lol.
Xenacanthus is a prehistoric shark from the early Permian. They were a metre in length.

@FabioAleRomero @yoofilos THIS poor dude would be vored at Kaibab 🥺🥺🥺 Bransonella, cat shark-like tiny marine xenacanthiform.
i never finished posting my mermay drawings so im dumping them all at once! as one does. xenacanthus vanitas, flying fish ventus, and regular ol sora! #kingdomhearts
I couldn't whip up another sketch for #FossilFishWeek, so here's some oldies- Aestuarichthys fulcratus, Xenacanthus, Sundayichthys, and Limnomis, all made in MS Paint around a year ago.
This prehistoric shark with a distinctive spine on the back of its head is Xenacanthus. ✨🦈✨

Also a slightly dark turn when it comes to the artwork: the corpse of Remigiomontanus, having been washed into a lake, gets its head bitten off by a xenacanth shark
This #Holdenius (a cousin of #Dunkleosteus) died when it bit a #xenacanth shark and the dorsal spine pierced its brain! #FossilFriday
