Although Kubo advised on the Zanpakuto designs & liked what Kudou did on some, this old Zabimaru design from him has me thinking about what other ones would otherwise not have humanoid forms & what that difference means about an individual's soul..

I don't think it's possible as their Zanpakuto were only emulations & not the real thing. Confirmed to be like a lesser version of what Stark did with Lilynette. Without the free will etc. I took theirs to simply be a storage device & nothing more.

I saw EP 8 again & in retrospect, I REALLY think the Zero devision should’ve brought ikkaku & Yumichika UP to the soul palace, for training & “reforging” & “enhancement” of THEIR zanpakutos as well!
It would make so much sense for nimaya to do that too- why? Well-
