Is a figment of your imagination. Possibly a piece of undigested lumpy mashed potato, maybe a dark yawning void. The figment writes things no one reads.

"Sensitive Criminals" from Grant Morrison, Phil Jimenez, John Stokes, Daniel Vozzo, Heroic Age, and Todd Klein begins in The Invisibles Vol. 2

While the cell tends to Takashi's wounds, we get treated to a bit of biography for Edith and meeting King Mob.

Both the dancing and the unknown glow from the case feel like we're back in Tarantino territory here.

This is fundamentally true. Everything is strange.

It's also somewhat disturbing to find out that pushing Robin in order to use her mental mojo only found out the mundane reasons for the gangsters' actions. That it wasn't very "important" after all.

And more fun with time and space.

And deep into another action movie set up as King Mob just goes guns blazing. King Mob's definitely getting more and more violent in his new role, which to a certain extent feels weird when connected with elemental earth.

What with a projection of reality being the space in which we occupy, across a backdrop of two metauniverses fighting for dominance.

There's more here in the use of the Jesus fish, Gnosticism, and emanations, but I think they're ideas better discovered personally.

The war between the Invisibles and the other side continues into the future, with this seeming to be the "end times". It's interesting when you think about the earlier guard guy living long past 2012. Makes you wonder.

Also, this has 12 Monkeys vibes...

Seeing what is now the past, then as Ragged Robin's future, with the ideas of what technology would occur (and what doesn't) is always interesting. Along with concepts of the end that were pushing both for 2012 and Y2K.
