Also spotted that the "Blood for Poppies (Heads Down Here We Come Butch Vig mix" and "Blacq Audio mix", "Automatic Systematic Habit (Costa Cadeu mix)" and the radio mixes of "Control" and "Battle In Me" have been recently registered - finally a digital release for these versions?

🌟October 5th, 1998: "Special" is released as the third single from Version 2.0 in the UK and Europe, b/w "13 x Forever", "Medication (Acoustic version)" and remixes of "Special" and "Push It" by Brothers in Rhythm and Victor Calderone.

So there you have it, Radio One did in fact playlist "Androgyny" and gave it more support than any other UK station - despite what Shirley remembers! It was from "Cherry Lips" onwards that R1 dropped the band.
