In just 3 days, Winnie the Pooh and Bambi (which are closely associated with Disney and many childhoods) will become public domain (in the U.S.) like Great Gatsby at the start of this year.
I'm looking forward to seeing new and creative takes on these properties!
I’m still waiting for the day that Disney Animation releases a new film that’s in the style of Paperman/Feast or Far from the Tree.
Nothing wrong with their current style, but I think it’s good for a studio to have unique styles for their movies.
I just want to remind you that Avatar, Transformers, TMNT, and (possibly) Star Trek are soon going to have their own Into the Spider-Verse-inspired movies with their animation styles and/or the target demographic.
Right now, it is a great time to be a fan of both superheroes and animation :)
