Another random one! Yes, I know, a little heavy on the black paint🙈but I couldn’t actually stop myself - I was clearly releasing an enormous amount of pent up something 🖤
Yesterday I couldn’t get inspired; the paint wasn’t working for me at all. Today, I woke early and just wanted to play with colour - so what better bird to paint than a completely white one 🦢Here’s to us all finding colour where we least expect to find it! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤
After yesterday’s bother-boy bouncer of a mallard, I obviously felt more ethereal this morning. Rain stopped play in the #BigGardenBirdWatch yesterday - well, it didn’t even begin, so that’s what I’m up to this morning. Hope you all have a lovely day.
After a full day (and most of the evening)deciphering ambiguous government guidelines yesterday, I was done! However I have woken to the new year with re-newed fight and have taken it all out on paper! There you go 👊Happy New Year. Based on a wonderful photo by @paul_cunniffe1
The benefits of painting every day are obvious with my owl paintings (look at the third picture to see the progression) ... I think I’m getting there now! I have thoroughly enjoyed painting this. So, everyone out there, keep going - practice makes ... well, a little bit better!
I’m at the stage where I can’t decide whether to stop or not. I may tinker with this a tiny bit more later. What a joy to paint. Thank you to everyone for orders, likes, comments and follows - I hope you all have a peaceful Sunday
I’m obviously feeling a little more serene this morning 🙂I hope you all have peaceful weekends surround by nature.
Admission time: until this year, I had never noticed Snowberries 🙈and I love them. I have gained so many positives this year, and now more than ever, we have to hang to any positives. Stay safe everyone and keep doing your thing. I’ll keep exploring and painting!
Waiting for the bird feeder to be filled! I hope you are all having a good week.
