Man of Tomorrow #12 - January 1999
1). Lex continues to carry out his vendetta against Clark and Lois. Having fired Clark when he bought out the Daily Planet, he cancels Clark's publication contract for his upcoming book through a LexCorp subsidiary
The contentious relationship Clark has with Jor-El in modern continuity, compared to the warm, caring relationship he has with Lois and Jon, is an excellent reminder that the family you make for yourself can be so much better than the one you're born into
#Supergirl fans, whether you like the character best from the comics, animation, TV, movies, or any combination, I think you're amazing and I stand with you #HouseOfEl
When I was out of today I saw a car sticker that was a silhouette of the Statue of Liberty holding up an assault rifle, turning a symbol of hope, compassion, and refuge into a symbol of violence and entitlement. Sickening.
Hey! The godlike Superman of the 853rd century thinks you're a-okay! 😉👍
@BrandonEaston @FicoOssio Mister Miracle: Source of Freedom #1 is excellent

I LOVE Renato Guedes Superman art. From the spit curl, to the volume of the cape, to the little extra length in the sleeves, and especially the slightly raised and metallic S shield, the whole thing is perfection
Clark losing his powers wasn't a new idea at the time (see Final Night), but the One Year Later arc of Action and Superman (2006) of Clark thriving without them while they slowly come back on their own is pretty great
