I'm on a mid/late 80s DC kick the last couple of days, and I started reading the Batman-less Outsiders series, and wow is the villain pun names prolific.
Up first: the Nuclear Family
Superman #143 - April 1999
1). As Superman's obsession with policing the world's inequities intensifies, he continues to lean more and more into authoritarianism, to the point where he actions are actually increasing political strife

4). Lois is able to use slang the metahuman uses to profile him, identifying him a retired military sergeant named Stryke previously hospitalized for drug use, though his ultimate agenda remains unclear
2). He also punishes Lois by continuing to restrict her ability to report the news, confident that she won't quit her job at LexCom with her family income cut in half
