For some reason I find the whole narrative of a woman meeting a good man through the workplace to be viscerally disgusting. Why isn't it enough for women to just be beautiful and charming? Why do we make our girls grub at some "career" to prove they're worthy? This won't do.

You know, I cannot recollect a single time in my entire life anyone has ever given me a truly sincere apology, as in the perpetrator knows they wronged me and really wants to make it right for me. Always it's excuses coupled with doing the minimum to settle me down.

"Sirens by the Sea" by Viktor Karlovich Shtember is a gorgeously evocative vision, each of the maidens looking as if she's making the very air, the very sea, vibrate with her promise: "Come to me, thou handsome sailor, and I will show you a death sweeter than life."

My frame has arrived, and I've now put my diploma in it! Got it perched on my desk. Now I feel like a college graduate. 🙂

"Cashmere" by John Singer Sargent shows seven maidens all decked out in the fresh air, adorned with gorgeous makeup and hairstyles that look suspiciously similar to some that were later used in Star Wars. 😀

It's not like I have any regrets; having put myself out there, I've yet to meet anybody who's hot, lovable, and available. It's just that I was thinking the other day how if I could've somehow found a soul mate at 16 my life would have been so much better... 😌

I read there are travel bans, driving bans...for a snowstorm!? That is not normal or acceptable behavior from a government, but in lockdown world I guess that's the future we have to look forward to; in other words: no future at all. Nothing will ever really get better, will it?

I can't find the artist or title of this painting, but isn't it so gorgeous! A moonlit seascape with three beauties enjoying their evening, sumptuous fair bodies adorned in the most flattering and vivid of feminine fashions.
