Released in 1992, Revolution Games flexed its creative muscle with Lure of the Temptress. Extensive dialogue options and character cast showcase the game's Virtual Theatre technology, although it does result in a slow-burn experience. #amiga #retrogaming

Released in 1992, Jim Power was yet another visual showcase for the #amiga. With great art and sublime scrolling, this platform-shooter proved the machine could still hold its own. The best thing? The awesome soundtrack by @Chris_Huelsbeck #retrogaming

Looking for a challenge? Then check out Frantic Freddie II, a new arcade collect 'em up on #c64. This unofficial sequel features old-school difficulty sure to make you weep, but the soundtrack is superb! Great interludes too! #retrogaming #commodore64

I picked up a copy of Age of Heroes on #c64, the new Rastan-style arcade adventure by @smila007 and co. Great visuals, branching paths, and a basic level-up system, this is one of the more accessible titles of late! No dodgy ropes either 😉 #commodore64

New video for Friday is another QHD 1440p re-recording, this time of Wolfchild on the #amiga! This was one of my favourite platform games for the system back in the day - cool art style, great music by Martin Iveson, solid gameplay! #retrogaming

Despite some reasonable audio samples and speech, Ocean's conversion of Chase H.Q. for the #amiga is a distinctly lacklustre affair. Controls are sluggish and unwieldy, and the frame-rate is well into single figures - not great! #retrogaming

I've started going through my video back catalogue, and I'm starting to re-record new footage upscaled to 1440p for even better clarity/sharpness. The first in my #retrogaming QHD longplay series is Shadow of the Beast on #amiga - link below!

Released on #amiga in 1992, Ego Software took Space Taxi back to the stone age in this prehistoric cab sim. Carry fares to the right cave to earn Ugh-bucks to impress the woman of your dreams, but watch the controls - they're fiddly! #retrogaming

@caveofpixels It looks fine, but the PC/Amiga version of the character is visually quite bland to begin with; the magic of the character was in the animation, which is difficult to capture in a still frame. Try one of him swigging from a potion bottle (or a guard sliced up in a guillotine 😈)
A 1985 release by Tony Crowther, Suicide Express puts players in charge of a missile-laden express train capable of reaching insane speeds. You'll need quick reflexes to stay alive, and paying attention to both play-fields is paramount! #c64 #retrogaming
