Featuring some of the highest production values witnessed on the #C64, Creatures remains a standout game for the system. Technical excellence, artistic polish, and a mischievous sense of humour coalesce to form something special indeed. #RETROGAMING

@dantemendes I don't think the Amiga version's sprites were ripped from the arcade, so whoever had the job of redrawing all the artwork did a pretty good job in my opinion (screenshots added for comparison)
Released in 1989, Xenon 2 raised the bar for production values across the board. Mark Coleman's #pixelart and Tim Simenon's soundtrack resulted in a game every inch the triple-A sequel The Bitmap Brothers had intended it to be. #amiga #retrogaming

The Bubble Bobble series remains one of Taito's best-loved series, and are some of the most innovative and in-depth arcade games ever created.
Which of the classic trilogy is your favourite? #arcade #RETROGAMING
Although eclipsed by its sequel, Xenon would introduce the world to The Bitmap Brothers. This vertical shmup is as hard as they come, but it would be the first in a string of hits from the legendary Britsoft developer. #amiga #atarist #retrogaming

With retro remakes all the rage, I would love to see Samurai Warrior: The Battles of Usagi Yojimbo updated. It was full of great ideas, but tech limitations meant much had to be cut from the final game.
What retro game would you most like to see remade and why? #RETROGAMING
The #segamastersystem wasn't exactly awash with quality fighting games, but Masters of Combat might surprise you. This 1993 release features some cool #pixelart and animation, and its counter-based combat system works surprisingly well! #RETROGAMING

Tony Crowther was one of the early pioneers of the #c64, producing many games for the system, sometimes in as little as 2 weeks of coding!
I enjoyed Suicide Express, but what are your favourite Crowther classics? #retrogaming
Despite its looks, Fernandez Must Die is anything but a simple Commando clone. An endless army of troops and tanks blocks the road ahead, and it's all too easy to lose your way in its maze-like fortress! #c64 #retrogaming #commodore64

Of the many coin-op conversions to hit the #c64, Midnight Resistance is one of the very best. Special FX crammed in everything from the arcade, and came up with a simplified control scheme that just worked superbly well! #retrogaming #commodore64
