As a result if interbreeding between Spinies and Buzzy Beetles, a new species in the family developed, inhereting a single spike spike of the former and the fireproof shell of the latter. Its feet are able to stick to any sorr of surface without any problems.

Remember the Lava Lotus from the underwater levels of SMB3? Dinosaur Land has its own species of the plant that grows on land! It relaeases burning seeds in the exact same pattern, but these ones are harder to pass since you can't just swim over them now.

These mischievous moles dig into hills and mountains to hide. If someone wakes them up, they launch themselves out of their burrows and chases them down. They can run at impressive speeds, but they're very clumsy and have trouble making sharp turns.

This team of Koopa jocks are big and burly, being able to tank several strikes from above with their helmets. Their game plans vary between each one: charging forward, punting footballs, calling for backup, jumping and clapping, and… pitching baseballs?

If you hear the sound of a cannon being shot, but the cannon is nowhere to be seen, chances are high that one of these magnum missiles has been fired. That shark-like smile would only get scarier if not for the fact that you could see it from a mile away.

Instead of hiding in their shells, some Koopa Troopas get launched out of them upon being stomped. Ah, how relaxing it must feel to finally take that thing off… willingly. Leaves them embarrassed if they're not expecting it, and they'll try to get back in.

Tatanga the Mysterious Spaceman is Super Mario Land's main villain, who kidnapped Princess Daisy and took over Sarasaland. Even with his small stature and lack of physical strength, he and his spacecraft Pagosu strike fear into the hearts of planets he invades.

These electronic enemies hover in the skies of the Chai kingdom and form an invisible electric fence. With their shatterproof screen and tough metallic casing, its durability is unmatched. The sparks that appear from one of them can somtimes look like glitter.

On the path in the sky leading to Tatanga, his fighter pilot minions patrol. Their main attack strategy is to charge directly at the enemy, and then deploy a Bullet Biff as a backup plan. The plane is capable of firing cannonballs from its nose, but never do.

Long ago, the Pionpi people believed these birds were the messengers from their overlord Biokinton. But when Tatanga took over, he hypnotized them into being his personal soldiers. He mistook them for chickens when naming them, and refuses to correct himself.
