He probably just doesn't want to try deal with certain people online like those with random hate boners for him

Kakifly had never done original work before, so his editor asked him what he'd like to draw for the serialisation, possibly a subject he was passionate as a student or field he is confident in
Kakifly said he was in the Light Music Club at University.
So the setting was decided.

His editor met Kakifly at a doujinshi shop when looking for possible newcomers.
He really liked Kakifly's quality of drawings and felt his 4koma would fit well with the atmosphere of Manga Time Kirara

In Japan it has now been 15 years since K-on! first published.
So here is a colouring of the image Kakifly did for the 15th anniversary for Manga Time Kirara. Quite fitting

I like to believe Year 2 College HTT will have Azusa rejoin as well as Jun and Ui.
A 7 person band, that at least Anime Azusa wondered what would be like & Mio would thinks would be nice to have.
Both Azusas did want Jun to join too

For this birthday, I have a colouring from Vol 4 Chap 12.
Jun, Ui & Azusa bake cakes for the Seniors. After the Seniors got into Uni, they all come in to be congratulated.
Jun sees how close they've gotten and essentially says she wants to join HTT but can't yet
