I tend to fall out of love with my old stuff, but as time goes I love Maestria more and more. It's hard to believe it was my first real game project. My first time doing 3D, music, and a lot more.
It's not perfect, but on a personal level, this game is a miracle.

I've had a lot of work lately and haven't touched my game in nearly a week. That hasn't happened to me in a long, long time, don't know how I feel about it.
While I prepare new stuff to feed THE ALGORITHM™, have a few pages from my old webcomic that I still like. :)

Texture #2 is a hand-painted normal map. This is the most important one, that allows light to reflect on the sprite.
Making a normal map by hand is tedious and the result lacks precision. But it works for what I'm trying to achieve!
Another one I found: Stanberry. It's lowercase, a good middle ground between "round and cutesy" and "straight and stern"...
Not too fond of how it looks in all caps, though.
So I've prepared some variants!
First one is Ames, the font I used for my webcomic. It's a great comic font; it just feels right and no one will think about it while reading, which is what we want.
I would have prefered a lowercase font, though. It might look too modern.
Sorted some cables at the office the other day. One of our ethernet cables has... more of an edge.

Coming in Bomb Club Deluxe's first patch: a new setting to increase the contrast of the UI. More accessibility options, always a good thing!

I saw this meme on Reddit this morning and people were discussing it with no hint of irony like it made a valid point... I love the game but come on, 100 hours? One hundred hours...?
