Looking for explosion refs in my own comic (which had a lot because it turns out I'm absolutely OBSESSED with explosions) and it's interesting to see the evolution... Can't tell you how long the first one took to make, and it looks so much worse than the last one... :D

I haven't drawn much in 2020 since I've been quite busy with my game. Still, here's some stuff I made last year!

The old one for reference. I should have changed the colors, they end up being this big blob of black-ish... I drew this years ago and since then I've tried to incorporate more vibrant colors into my designs, but I'm far from being there yet...

Another redraw of an old design.

Here's another exemple where I've used that trick, to reproduce the jittery style of flipbook animations (without having to draw every frame). With this one, a low FPS value works best.

When drawing my webcomic, I made this page and swore "Never again". But I couldn't stay away from old stones and rubble, oh no. My one true love.
