Ophoi is home to wild, wondrous vistas that have been shaped and sculpted by the particular feelings that have pervaded in the landscape. A valley that's experienced violence and carnage is likely to see the air thicken and rock formations erode into spikey, aggressive shapes.

These monarchs tend to be isolated from the rest of society, fed purely on liquid ammonium - which erodes the Zephyr and turns the body into ever-growing crystalline formations, though still preserving the original pattern of a once-living entity.

Hunting in #ZephyrRPG is not just vital to procure food: It also features an aspect of reciprocity with the world. An arrow knock is always preceded by hunters spilling their blood through the Shedding, allowing them to share in the worlds pain, hoping never to become numb to it.

In the living landmass of Ophoi, not only creatures but also forests, rivers and mountains are considered entities with which the Windfolk have responsibilities - understanding of mutual care roles and bonds between Windfolk and the world around them.

In game, the Technologies you pick for your character not only helps shape the primary roles of your Windfolk in the party: It also comes with a total weight in Oi which signifies a measure of reciprocity, with which you will create the Obligation that they'll need to fulfill.

While the Salt States see them as a narrow set of utilitarian assets, for the Windfolk, Technologies aren't just tools: they are social institutions, ways of interacting with and cultivating your community - anything that helps make life easier in Ophoi.
