Tried the tablet and I'm overall happy with it. Tho it feels super weird compared to traditional art. And I mean SUPER weird.
Anyways, one of my first things, skull of the Carrion Stork (The World of Kong: A Natural History of Skull Island)
@zhejiang0pterus @FabioAleRomero They definitely have the same terrifying expressions
Sooooo it seems Teraterpeton exists in the Avatar universe. Kinda. It's pretty damn close.
(art by @paleobyliam)
@ASeductiveSmile @MichioCuckedYou Well there are various types of armored catfish, tho more the smaller ones, not the typical big guys like Piraiba, Red tail or Wels. Either way, this is clearly the ultimate organism
@ASeductiveSmile Oh boy, it took me several tries trying to decipher this mess of a tweet and I'm still not entirely sure I understand this guy's point.
@Extinct_AnimaIs That artwork shows Chalicotherium, Tylocephalonyx had a characteristic domed skull and didn't have the gorilla-like build of chalicotheriines (artwork by Roman Uchytel and Joschua Knüppe)
Now, over on discord several people speculated that the model for JWA could be Carbonemys, a river turtle. Carbonemys was massively screwed up by ARK Surivival Evolved, which basically turned it into a very spiky looking thing that looks more like a tortoise than a river turtle
Just for reference, some of the notable members of the three groups, artist credit at the bottom of each pic.
@sklrrrrrrr @Extinct_AnimaIs @qikipedia No need to imagine it, the same artist drew a horse in the same manner
