The substances that fuse with its shell even protect Brute Tigrex against electrical shocks. The black coloration of each individual varies, depending on their age and the environment they are inhabiting. Some are lighter than others, and some are darker than others.
While young, Brute Tigrex is gray in color, but its coloration changes as it ages due to volcanic ash and minerals adhering to its skin from the extreme heat of lava in its environment. Those impurities in its habitat strengthen its shell, granting it better protection.

Zinogre usually nest in groups to protect their young. Compared to an adult, a young Zinogre has more fur on its body to protect its underdeveloped shockers and increase the amount of electricity it can build up while at that age. A young Zinogre is also quite moody.
By attacking Zinogre in this state, hunters will deal more damage to it since its vulnerable parts are greatly exposed while wide open.
When fully charged, the shockers on Zinogre's body will become erect and open up, and electricity will constantly flow throughout its entire body due to the help of the Thunderbugs.
The Garwga are the natural predator of the Thunderbugs, while Zinogre is the natural predator of the Garwga (It has a peculiar taste for bird wyvern meat). To avoid being preyed upon by flocks of Garwga, Thunderbugs are known to gather around Zinogre for protection.
