Throwback to that time 4 years ago when my phone completely shit itself while I slept and proceeded to call and text multiple people in my contacts, on Discord, and created two identical notes that just had this.
And some random outdated concepts for rooms, area layouts, and all of that stuff!
When we scrapped the diverging paths from the midpoint and added the Knights, we originally had those right after their battle room.
We ended up scrapping this, too, so we could put the falling introduction right after and THEN expand on it.
We also needed healing items. Picnic!
In 2017, Mettacrit was going to be the midpoint miniboss, with a makeshift stage in the middle of Ruined Home.
We wanted to go for something different than Napstablook, though, so we moved him to the City of Old and put a new miniboss here instead.
@TheChunkierBean Example: I lead development of an Undertale fan-game that currently has a 1-3 hour long demo, and we do monthly devlogs reporting on our progress and talking about the "behind the scenes" aspect of development.
This includes talking about when progress is slow, roadblocks, etc.
