Thor: The Mighty Avenger by @hotelfred @ChrisSamnee. Like most Batman Adventures comic (sneaky 2 for 1), full of charm. Safe for kids and refreshing for growed ups

Bennett does a little more of the heavy lifting on issue 2 of this two part mini but both creators put this together so it all feels of one voice. Deathblow has no defined character so that’s easily handled.Wolverine is handled well and is defined by a nose like JRJr did Punisher

@ManFirestorm As an alternative, when the essential Conan became very scarce, I sought out the oversized saga 1-12. New covers and bits of art. Issue 7 reproduced from pencils.

Said it before, I’ll say it again. Grendel Devils and Deaths by Macan, Biukovic and Hollingsworth. Dark, funny, ultimately optimistic and beautiful;No reason for it to be linked to Grendel and I think I hinders the appeal a little.

I finally got to Grendel War Child. I wish I could say I clicked to McKeown’s art straight away. A 12 issue series that ends the Grendel lineage and moves Grendel to a ‘religion’. I knew none of that. An epic of frustrated intentions and political mischief. McKeown is brilliant.

Just realised I don’t own a copy of Hicksville. Wtf? How’d that happen? Where did it go?
It features a town with a library of every good comic, where comic artists go to relax and make their dream comics, also available there and the guy who makes $$$ on a stolen idea. Brilliant

I know art is subjective and Steve Rude didn’t follow the brief but how does this editor sleep at night?
