Decided to suck it up and watch #Samurai7 an #Anime reimagining of Kurosawa's classic. Captures alot of the themes of the original + the characters mostly line up but Gonzo have been far too ambitious with their Sci-Fi vision and the original's magic is getting lost. 9/26 so far.

Maiden Japan announced earlier that they have licensed classic 1984 Shoujo #Anime series #GlassMask for release on sub only Blu Ray in September. The full 23 episodes will be included in a single set. I saw ep 1 of this series last year and was intrigued so this is great news! 😀

Just watched #FairThenPartlyPiggy on Blu Ray courtesy of @discotekmedia. Thought it was okay. The animation was the stand out, very colorful and fun. It's got a great innocence and imagination to it though story is very basic and pretty shallow. Main VA was only 12 and is great.

Also watched the first two eps of #LaughingUnderTheClouds. Abit of a random pick for me right now but I've always loved the cover/promo art for this series. Knew it was shoujo/otome like #Anime but I expected to like this abit more than I am so far. Just struggling to get into it

Finally watched #TrigunBadlandsRumble on Blu. TBH I'm actually not a big fan of #Trigun, I like it but it never really impressed me and it's white hot fandom has always bemused me somewhat. The film spawned from said fandom doesn't really change how I feel. Good but not Great imo

I could play only #Tetris until I die and it'd supplement my hunger for gaming. #MarioBros3 was just a staple of my childhood and the memories made on my NES/SNES. #Minecraft is probably the best game ever made. #BurnoutParadise is just arcade racing perfection. #GameStruck4 😍😍

Next 1997 #Anime OVA is #EightCloudsRising which was pretty great. So much so I wish it was longer than just two 30min eps. I definitely would have watched something longer or even a single cour series. The dub was great and the story while alot to take in was engaging throughout

#Waluigi's Grandpa orbiting the earth in a giant #Dinobot just fired a #NuclearBomb into the Japanese Sea in order to piss people off so he can open a cyber tunnel in space time to allow a colossal sized Demon Lord to take over the earth. Quite the finale #GanbareGoemon 🤪🤪🤪

Bloody Roar x Kaiji x Ikki Tousen? Yeah I think I'm okay with that. #KillingBites is a pretty dumb/trashy #Anime but it is so far my sort of dumb trash. It has a killer ost and the narrator is badass/hilarious. Action is solid also. I will tentatively recommend it.
