Today, Edward Lear. I was going to do Sargent, but everyone knows him.
I first saw Lear's watercolors of Greece in 1976 at @ASCSAthens and they blew me away. A strong influence on my desire to do watercolor landscapes

The upper bit is very much as I envisioned if I were to try painting it.
Too bad Fuseli beat me to it by 200+ years 🤪. Not that I could come anywhere close.
