Here I attempted using Chrome Canvas to draw these three characters; I admit I haven't really decided on their exact colours and just used the app's preset palette instead. It's also got a layers feature along with a few different brush types but overall it seems pretty basic.
Whenever I draw a character not simply standing there, I feel like I can never really keep things like anatomy or proportions consistent, especially for reclining poses like this.
Here's Rubi, who's also going without pants for this look as well as no shirt or sleeves either.
It looks like Pien-Hua is meditating; is she doing so in front of a distorting funhouse mirror, and if so, which side is it on? Is this a weight loss method or has she become more Budai-like? Could there be some kind of yin and yang theme here?
Recently I found out there's apparently a kind of milkshake in Australia called a thickshake and I guess that sort of inspired me to combine certain things here in this pic of Kate - I didn't really have any markers in a lighter shade of grey for her there though.
I happened across some brush pens of a different colour theme to ones I've used before and used the new set to draw this pic of Beryl, who's seemingly hibernating here. It was kind of tricky drawing her at this angle but I thought it'd make for a more interesting view, I guess...
Like Bru Badger and Roocan recently, Uncle Skunklin may seem to look a bit different here too.
I guess I haven't really done much in the way of fan art for a while now, though lately I have been feeling like maybe drawing some more; here's a character I probably haven't drawn before but I've been playing Crash Bandicoot games since childhood.
