Hi, I'm Bruce! I paint otherworldly landscapes and environments for games and books, best known for my work on Slay the Spire and Numenera. Here are a few (non-NDA) favorites from recent years! You can find my portfolio and more favorite pieces in my profile.

@sylthuria Congrats on 2K! Jumped in from the link in the secret project. 😉 Anyway, here are a few of my otherworldly landscapes!
Feels like I’ve painted a lot of refuges of various sorts recently.
Here, have some art! This is 'Ellomyr', a city I designed from the ground up over the course of the #Numenera 2 campaign as backers made decisions for its growth and survival. Fun times!
I'm proud to say that 'Garden of Solitude' has made the Chesley Awards long list for Best Color Work Unpublished! It's in truly great company, amazing art and artists. In this piece I imagined, amid all the chaos of the past year, where I would wish to be.
Maybe not all what they had in mind, but I love my weird flora paintings, anyway! #EnchantingPlantsAndTrees
Ok, something completely atypical for me. You know those chapter icons in the Wheel of Time Books? I always loved those. Thanks @WGalaini for letting me try my hand at making some for his books!
@kimsokol Good question. I also took about 5 years off between graduation and starting back into art. I feel like there are hints of 'now' in it, but it was pretty scattershot. I didn't have a very cohesive idea of what I wanted to do stylistically then.
I always love sharing some of my #lovelylandscapes paintings! Here are a few that just make me go, ‘ahhhhhhhhh’.
Process of making 'The Garden of Solitude'. It's a little out of order, but I assume you can figure out which stage goes where? 😉
