Alien worlds... with a #purpleart theme! :-)

Late night art tweet just because! These two were illustrations for the Illustrators of the Future contest. Had a good time there, FWIW, but feel free to DM with any questions.

#HowIUseReference is interesting, because it varies a lot from piece to piece. Some pieces get some photobashed elements; others I just look at reference for pure inspiration/mood. I absorbed a lot of Roberto Ferri paintings for this particular series (1/2)

@najarianart Cheers, Steve! SFW, meaning I can't post my dragons, right?! ;-D Alright, here are some landscapes instead.
And seriously, everyone should go follow @ls_setiawan and @MajorSheep

(4/4) "The Dragonlands" and "The Void"

(3/4) "The Frost Castle" and "The Rift"

I want to see this set of 8 illustrations all together, so here we go.... (1/4) "The Last Outpost" and "The Red Tree"

And because why not, here's another #sameartist

@Level20Artist Well, this is a fun one out of left field one for me (because I'm mostly made of landscapes), but here goes.... :-D
Also, @charamath @Kamakru this is your bailiwick!

What a beautiful sunny day (at least where I am)! I thought I'd share a concept exploration (left) connected to an illustration (right) called 'The High Road'. All part of what I'm cooking up for my patrons over at P*treon. :-)
