42. The Azu comic was abandoned after page 2 because I lost my patience with coloring comics and the pilot didn’t look that great in b/w. This world mixed both humans, furries, and non-anthro creatures. I keep thinking this would have been a more interesting comic than hiex.

40. and speaking of influences between the comics, Immortal Fool and HiEx coexist as projects because HiEx originally existed for me to cancel immortal fool and primarily make original works. iFool was a fanfic in 2003 that was canned 2/3rds into the story.

39. I didn’t think too much ahead when hiex had a broom wielder and a plant witch and it ended up being very familiar to a specific couple in immortal fool. It started off coincidential, but then I ran with it and made them secretly date by chapter 5

38. the “ADVICE” tee had been around since before the 2010 iteration of hiex. I drew it on a piece of Leon art back in 2008-ish, but I can’t find that anywhere. Since HiEx, i vowed to cameo that shirt on my fav characters. Mona was gonna wear it in a comic I never finished.

34. I thought about changing up Terrie’s haircolor once in a while but that blue purple is just too good.

Her dad Ren (the small dad), on the other hand, changes his hair every appearance. Everyone in Terrie’s immediate family except otherdad dyes their hair.

33. Terrie Daiquiri is short, cute, and the daughter of a famous hairdresser. Her chemist hobby was inspired by the chemists of Final Fantasy Tactics. Years later, my drawings of Terrie, Todomatsu Matsuno and Mona Shovel Knight would cross-influence each other a tiny bit.
