Not sure if anyone remembers it, but I still think that FINAL FANTASY: THE SPIRITS WITHIN was a visually stunning and intriguing film for its time. Loved it then, love it now.

Now that animated tv series are heading to the big screen again, maybe I should find the time to revisit these classics.

Don Bluth really deserves more recognition and a substantial retrospective of his work. He is one of animation’s greatest artists with an enviable filmography: THE LAND BEFORE TIME, AN AMERICAN TAIL, ANASTASIA, and, of course, TITAN A.E.
