Angela’s December.
Brandy Cinnamon Wages and her daughter Angela December Fisher, from The Wages, An Illustrated Story.
Done.
Sisters Crystal Wages and Brandy Cinnamon Wages fly up to see over the passing hour-long train that is blocking their coach from going home. They don’t see an end to the train, and there is only blue fog on the other side. Perhaps someone in the night market has answers.
It’s the ‘80s, the era of peach-and-teal duvets, and Siobhan finds that Brandy Cinnamon Wages and all of her emotional wreckage and contradictions can be a little overwhelming.
What did a Brandy Cinnamon Wages set sound like on the ‘80s bar circuit? Here’s a playlist to help you imagine. Songs of similar sentiment stand in for the ones that would be her own. Her voice is most like Juice Newton in the 1st song. Listen to be there.

Another new drawing.
Among the memories that bother Brandy Cinnamon Wages’ as she crosses the wasteland are recollections of her lost loves, such as orange-winged Aurora.
I did a courtroom drawing this morning for @LFPress . #courtdrawing

I originally drew only a portrait-size of Brandy Cinnamon Wages’ ‘70s wedding gown, and a full drawing of her big sister Crystal’s ‘70s bridesmaid’s gown. Even though the marriage ends sadly, I am now thinking I should do a full drawing of the wedding gown too. What do you think?
Full disclosure:
This drawing is mostly Boucher’s Brunette Odalisque, with a few strategic changes, such as turning the figure around a bit—and she takes a more active narrative and complex emotional state.
Another detail is the addition of a hockey enforcer in his underpants.
