There's a huge amount of Alita fan art that might the creators might grant permission to be used in an Alita ad. The quality of the Alita fan art is so high that it is evidence that Alita merchandise following a sequel would sell very well, which is another reason for a sequel.
Here's a revised ad for what an ad in the L A Times on Alita Day should look like. The key is to have an outstanding picture together with a short, compelling text so that the reader will sign the petition and tweet #AlitaSequel to @DisneyStudios.
Truth is easily resistible. We are very good at deceiving ourselves. Goodness is easily resistible. We can shut up our consciences very easily. But beauty is irresistible. That's why an Alita ad in L A Times needs a strikingly beautiful picture. Beauty will get Alita a sequel.
I did a post on Sonny Jian Sung's facebook page asking for his permission to use his fan art of Alita with a butterfly in an ad to appear in the L A Times. Hopefully he will reply. Here's a link: https://t.co/cQe39dy43w
RaikoArt, would you be willing to let the Alita Army use your fan art of Alita: Battle Angel (attached) in a proposed ad on Sept 9 2022 in the Los Angeles Times? @raikoart https://t.co/LTzWptrXjh
The L A Daily News reports that there are no major studio releases planned for the rest of August. A mass tweet requesting a rerelease Alita: Battle Angel in theaters might work if there were 10K tweets, and it would have a big impact, and it would be free, unlike an ad.
Antonio Salieri was jealous of Mozart because Mozart was a genius and he wasn't. This may explain why Disney hasn't greenlighted an Alita sequel. Alita: Battle Angel was such a great movie it made the Disney movies that year look bad. Disney, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
The Alita Army is planning on placing an ad to promote a sequel to Alita: Battle Angel in the Los Angeles Times. Would you be willing to let the Alita Army use your picture of Alita in that advertisement? That's a great picture. @raikoart
@inkedrescuer Do you like that Alita fan art better than Raikoart's Alita fan art, which is attached? #AlitaSequel
Which of these Alita fan art pictures would be the best to use in a possible ad in the L A Times? To use fan art, we would need to get the creator's permission. I hope to talk to the L A Times tomorrow & ask if they would allow a cheap test run. #AlitaSequel
