Alita: Battle Angel is a big-budget movie which returns to movie theaters on Oct 30th. On Rotten Tomatoes the audience score is 92% - i.e., an “A”. If you see it, you’ll probably want to see it again. And it only costs $5 a ticket, which makes it a great value. @doc_ido
@Foxfire40900590 If Los Angeles theaters reopen on Oct 16th or Oct 23rd, doing an electronic billboard in Koreatown again would be a great spot. If New York reopens, Times Square would be great. Los Angeles & New York City are the 2 biggest movie markets in the US. @doc_ido

@Matthew12864953 @doc_ido Keep in mind the Alita box office will depend on how well it gets publicized. If Alita's Number One fan contacted Rosa Salazar & asked Rosa to do an Instagram post encouraging people to see Alita in theaters, her post might get 5000 people to buy tickets. @doc_ido

Attendance for Oct 30th weekend would be 1000 to 30,000 tickets sold, at $10/ticket that is $10,000 to $300,000. @doc_ido
Cinemark has tentatively scheduled Alita: Battle Angel for US theaters for Friday October 30th. None of the movies opening that week appear to be big budget movies, so the competition from other movies is not strong. The key thing is get the word out. @doc_ido
@AlitaArmy The #1 factor in getting a movie sequel is "Did the movie make a decent profit?" The vast majority of movies that made a decent profit did get sequels. The main question is, will the Alita sequel be at Disney or at Paramount? For Disney, the odds seem 60%; at Paramount 90%
