Something I realized:
-For many parties, buildings' shapes were entirely transformed.
-These were just decorative "shells" built around the exterior (confirmed by construction)
-However, sometimes snow still sat on the shells
This confirms that it snowed between some parties.❄️
oh wait my bad. i'm thinking of the Winter Lua 2006
close enough, lol
@redkeytar 2008 was when the art finally started to look consistent.
However, I love the "wild-west" approach from 2005-2007, where every penguin looked vastly different. Something about the range is just very charming to me.
@redkeytar Without a doubt, 2008 specifically. The art from that year is peak "web-comic," and I absolutely love it.
The penguins look perfect. Not too cute - not too silly. Completely believable, and very expressive.
2009-2012 was *too* cutesy, & everything else was far too exaggerated.
SpongeBob and Patrick appeared in Club Penguin's 81st newspaper, during a fan comic.

@redkeytar I enjoy all the CP skies. The old darker shade makes for a cool contrast.
The original gray skies from Peter Welleman's illustrations are also very nice. Gloomy arctic weather is such a vibe. ☁️❄️
@Beto_Sayago Oh yeah! The cart implies there's a mine track that leads inside the Toughest Mountain.
This seems likely, since we already know theres tracks that lead to the Ski Village's Wilderness (as seen in EPF DS)

@LabFIurry In terms of evolution, the caveguins wouldn't look like penguins.
Instead, they would look more like sasquatches.
(Writer Alex Newcombe has confirmed that Sam was a prehistoric penguin frozen during the Ice Age.)
