Elektra Lives Again by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley - A weird mix of Miller’s superhero storytelling and his Sin City storytelling. Every time I read it I like it a little bit more. Definitely my favorite Varley coloring in here, too.
Devil Dinosaur by Jack Kirby and Mike Royer - Kirby woke up one day and said to himself “I gotta make a comic about a T Rex except he’s a superhero” and that’s why he’ll always be the King.
Hi #PortfolioDay ! My name's Sam, I work mostly in black and white, and I like horror!
From Hell by Alan Moore, Eddie Campbell, and Pete Mullins - I have too much to say for a tweet, so here’s a link to my review on Goodreads: https://t.co/GsuSGj5z1o
Green Arrow: Quiver by Kevin Smith, Phil Hester, and Andre Parks - I know people like to goof on Kevin Smith but this actually has some pretty good writing in it. It is couched in some sub par humor, but it’s mostly just a fine superhero story.
