The Ladies of Conan:
BÊLIT - Conan’s great love as a young man and pirate Queen of the Black Coast whose lust for riches ultimately led to her downfall, although death itself proved no bar to her coming to Conan’s aid.
Art: John Buscema, Becky Cloonan, Sana Takeda, Kael Ngu
The Ladies of Conan:
ATALI - the siren daughter of Ymir the Frost Giant who bewitches and lures warriors to their doom underestimated the tenacity and iron will of Conan as he is compelled to pursue her across a frozen wasteland.
Art: Cary Nord, Barry Windsor-Smith, Robin Recht
Of course we all love the great John Buscema and Barry Windsor-Smith, but we also live in a world with Rob de la Torre, Mahmud Asrar, and Dan Panosian. In my opinion, they’re the cream of the crop among current Conan comic artists.
KING CONAN #1
Writer: Jason Aaron
Art: Mahmud Asrar
Colors: Matt Wilson
Coming in December 2021? 🤞
If you were disappointed by Masters of the Universe: Revelation and just want to see a muscled barbarian battle a skull faced sorcerer, then check out Robert E. Howard’s Kull story “The Cat and the Skull” or any of its comic book adaptations .
@VanTammen Here are some good examples of the way that he probably should be portrayed, although I don’t mind a certain artistic license.
