#28: Crispy
I like this one. I think the eyes definitely carry the piece here, they make each lava bubble look uniquely menacing. Besides that, the background is okay.
#27: Spark
This is the first in a couple images here at the end where I needed to make colors look distinct with each other. Crug Bug kinda blends into his Thunder and it bothers me a lot. Also, I wish I had shown the rain more clearly, or maybe a target for the Thunder.
#26: Connect
I like the idea for this one, the connect 4 meme is old and I felt like referencing it. I think the engineers are fine but I wish I had layered things differently, making the sentry in front of the hand with the point in the far back.
#25: Splat
Lancer not being slanted with the background bothers me a lot. I think the entire picture should've been something to do with his splat noise, so I think this one really doesn't fit the prompt.
#24: Extinct
I think Omanyte, Dracovish, and Archen came out pretty good. The others all look strange in one way or another. Also, I should've put some lab stuff in the background, would've been a good touch.
#23: Leak
It's okay. The background is lame but I didn't know how to shade it to make it look more interesting. I like how I made the letter wet, though.
#22: Open
Probably my favorite piece from this. I was gonna draw it accurate to how the fish looks but I accidentally filled something in that made me wanna make him cute. I actually felt like shading here, and that + the background makes for an interesting picture imo.
#21: Fuzzy
The background is boring, I like the TVs but everything else could've had more detail. But oh my god. Teddie looks sooooooo bad. I don't know how I submitted this with any confidence that's easily the worst design I've ever drawn. Everything about him looks terrible.
#20: Sprout
The only image where I think its simplicity is actually an advantage. She look cute
#19: Loop
Pikachu looks a little weird, but I like everything else. The lightning particles and Lylat in the background were fun to make and I think they look solid.
