@ADotHerbst The International Cryptozoology Museum, @ThompsonsPoint, Portland, Maine, is open 7 days a week, 11 am to 6 pm. The doors are locked at 5:30 pm but you are allowed to remain as a visitor until closing time. Founded in 2003.
@goudsward A title to use elsewhere might be "The Girl from Ipanema," a song inspired by the vision (in 1962) of Helô Pinheiro. She was "the paradigm of the young Carioca: a golden teenage girl, a mixture of flower and mermaid, full of light and grace…the feeling of youth that fades….”
@melissabales12 @zachbales @MeowWolf Zach and Melissa are true blue aficionados of the craft! ~ @CryptoLoren
@BrianSheehy @debwhite Most of the books are autographed. Always a good idea to pick them up there.
Packing a few books to sell at @MNParaUnity2021 Duluth MN, July 9-10, 2021, and to privately talk local (MN, WI, MI, Canadian) Obijwe Dakota #Cryptozoology. Come visit @CryptoLoren there. Support the #InternationalCryptozoologyMuseum. @Lindsay_Senter
Sad breaking news.
Paul A. Smith, 67, the artist who created the painting Simon and Schuster used for the cover of my 2003 book, Bigfoot! The True Story of Apes in America, died June 27, 2021. Truly appreciate Paul personally for the art he did for me & the Museum. More soon.
@AmbushPredator The felid illustrated on the cover of the Bords’ Alien Animals (1980) represents the “Mystery Pumas” in their subcategories. “Melanistic Mystery Cats” are, at most, only 40% of all reports of “Alien Big Cats.” The head, however, looks more like a tiger than a puma. @CryptoLoren
@Wflourance The International Cryptozoology Museum does have a tiki bar as our admission desk. More importantly we have Miguel Covarrubias maps throughout and appreciate his art from Ivan T. Sanderson’s work.

@LordGeekington @edward_guimont @TetZoo @StrangeIreland @tarbosaur Cameron? Have a link to the contents or copy of that Agogwe letter? This would be an intriguing piece of 1930s’ evidence for a connection between Agogwes and Hobbits. ~ @CryptoLoren
